This is an interesting take on what it takes to go for a job as professional brewer! I think some of this advice is relatively self explanatory and goes for most professional positions one would strive for. I think it illustrates the importance of getting your foot in the door of an established microbrewery and soaking up all the knowledge you can possibly learn while there. I also agree with Dave Hoops assessment of being loyal to that brewery and staying for a period of years. Although I am not positive 5 is necessary!
